§ 03 — Surface · Highways

Reservations for the road,
cleared each week.

Capacity is allocated through weekly auction. Users bid for routes and times; the system displays current market prices for nearby alternatives so trade-offs are visible before purchase.

For users

Bid, reserve, drive.

Rely on the weekly competitive allocation of capacity through reservations for your routes. Place bids for a desired route and schedule in the upcoming week; the system shows current competing bids — the market prices — for a few alternative times and routes.

Routes can be entered as origin/destination addresses or by list of waypoints. Pay for reservations using standard online payment methods.

Reservations are assigned to a specific mobile device, which is carried during the trip for notifications and purchase receipt.

The service

Calibrated to keep traffic moving.

An online commerce system calibrates the congestion-free capacity for segments of the road and ensures the volume of reservations prevents congestion delays.

User experience is collected during each trip to improve accuracy of congestion-free reservation volumes for upcoming allocations. Construction zones reduce the capacity and volume of reservations allocated accordingly.
